Anything you'd like. If you just need to vent, or if there's an idea you're tossing around and just need a sounding board for. I am an adult, but I'd like to help you how I can. We're all in this thing as a team and we can help each other out with puzzles or try to be an ear to listen so we don't go mad.
[Not that John would approve of that in the other direction, but he's happy to listen to the troubles of a young man and offer advice as where possible.]
I don't want to deal with them, either. My own pet theory is still that whatever is left of Andromeda is lodged deep into everything, but whatever is going on has to be complicated. I still want to know what's up with her and Samantha.
I imagine we'll find out. Have you noticed these occurrences or events or whatever you want to call them... they keep giving us more of their story, like there is something out there that wants us to know. If it's not Andromeda, maybe it's Samantha.
Have I noticed? That's the exact reason it's been building up in my mind. It's one thing after another. We got the whole thing with Andromeda and Winter, and now we're getting this with her and Samantha. It's bound to keep going. But the reason I'm saying Andromeda is because of what Winter's said, about maybe her being at town hall, and the voice we heard after Winter hacked the PM system.
Sam might still have a part, though. There's those leftovers of the old residents stuck in the system somehow. We've probably got at least the ghost image of her, so to speak. I just wish we knew why the cult grabbed her, and what for.
[It takes a moment for John to respond as he's going and back with the Admin now.]
Bloody hell. Just got a vid back from the Admin. She doesn't have anything for the first day, but on the second, she has a video that's me, as myself, running around the tunnel completely naked. No dog. What the hell is even going on with us?
[He'll get back to Sam in a moment. He just needs to process how wrong this is with someone else. He adds a few seconds later.]
She said she thinks it might be MN Poisoning making us hallucinate.
It's like, if you like the characters in a story, you write about them in different scenarios or maybe in scenes that you think would have been good in the story, but the original author didn't write. You can do it with real people, as well, but it's considered creepy.
Sherlock and I had some of that when I was doing my blog. Internet celebrity, it's bound to happen. Sometimes it's flattering, but a lot of it turns into pornography.
[Davesprite takes a shorter pause of his own. Dog? Is that the kind of monster he was?]
... Okay, on the scale of "interesting" to "pretty weird", that ranks as an official "what the goddamn fuck?" You don't have frostbite, do you? No other signs of a bout of unprompted winter nudism? Hallucination doesn't account for trampling around in the cold all day.
No. I don't. She couldn't tell me why, but I sure as bloody hell should have. I was cold enough when I 'woke up' as myself. I was sitting in a hot bath most of today, waiting for Mary to bring me my clothes.
Her obituary was in the papers. [Scrubbed of all real detail for national security reasons. Thank you, Mycroft Holmes.] I didn't post about it or anything.
