Like I said, I don't know much about Mr. Barton. Captain Rogers I did know here along with seeing the movies. I'm afraid I wouldn't feel comfortable telling you what I know about them. If they'd like to know what I know from my world, I can provide a summary to them directly.

I'm sure you can imagine why I'm not particularly comfortable with you having inside information on us, accurate or not.

I don't have to imagine, Ms. Romanov. Mr. Barton's already told me he knows who I am, or at least the character from whatever books exist in your world. I've gotten it from several others. Add to that what I accidentally put up, and my skin is crawling and probably will be for a very long time, yet.

As I said, I didn't tell any of you because I do not enjoy this feeling, and I would not wish it on anyone else. I feel half like a voyeur and if this were a case and you were criminals, that would be one thing. It's not and you aren't. That makes it very much another.

A little bit of transparency for you, then.
I did work for the KGB, but I defected years ago. I'm not ashamed of what I am, but considering Miller was trying to convince all of us that Winter is a Russian spy, and that Russia might be interested in kidnapping us to do who knows what, I can only imagine the rumors that might start among our more paranoid peers if someone decided to spread information about my past.

I'm not planning on it, and I've been keeping what I know to myself up until this point.

[Except to Alfie a little bit last night. Oops. He winces.]

The only person I know about that I've really handed out information on is the Joker. It seemed important for someone like him.

I'm sure I don't have to advise you to be more careful with the information you gather in the future.

I don't plan on writing anything personal down in the future.

[Which probably isn't going to be great for his mental health, considering that's one of his healthier coping mechanisms. But the dangers of it have been made very clear.]
