[He can't help the twist of a bitter smile. This is all a joke, he's going to end up hunted here too, and it's gone too far for him to stop it. Spoiler already knows his name and has been telling people - or, at least, Steve. Steve is unlikely to keep quiet about it.
He can't hide it. His best bet it to run, and he can't even do that here.

I'm prescribing you Fentora. Have you ever taken a buccal tablet? In essence, you'll stick the tablet under your lip and up against the outside of your teeth and you'll let it dissolve. 30 mcg/kg is something I'd prescribe if I we taking you in for a major surgery I expected to take several hours. DO NOT drink alcohol if you have it while you're taking these. You'll probably be dead before anyone can reach you to sort it out, rather than just slowed down.
Some of the common side effects are dry mouth, headache, anxiety, nausea, constipation and vomiting. You should be laid out pretty solidly during any of that, though. If you feel any chest pain or break out in hives at the first dose, don't use it again and let me know. We'll figure out something else. I'm not giving you anything you can inject, though.
[No offense, @j, but he's not giving you a needle and something easy to use on other people.]
I'm prescribing a 2-week dose to be used as-needed. I trust you're trying to avoid people for the moment? I hope you won't need it.
[He feels some of the tension in his shoulders ease with the massive relief of getting some help. Not all of it, because he doesn't have the tablets yet. This could still be a trap to get him to reveal himself so that he can be apprehended for what he's done.]
Thank you.
How do I collect it from you?
[He's ignoring most of the advice. He's got the dose and how to take it, everything else is moot.]
It should be in the next house you search from what we've seen. You don't need to pick it up from me.
Can you at least give me something to call you apart from @j? I understand you're trying to lie low, but I can keep a secret. Doctor-patient confidentiality.

I don't know their names.
[Names. Multiple.]

The dreams, right?
[He wouldn't be asking for help if he was a cold-blooded killer out for more blood. Or so John imagines.]
Do you have any medication allergies that you're aware of, sir?

The explanation doesn't matter, he's still a killer.]
No allergies. I'll need a lot, I have a fast metabolism.

No. It's safer if you don't know.
Thank you for the help.
