It took some time, but I received my blood type from our dear Admin.

Haven't made up my mind quite yet, but I reckon we're still a ways away from it being an option, aren't we? All the same, it says A positive.

Still, thank you for letting me know, Mr. Undertaker. Have you been experiencing any symptoms of MN poisoning that you know of, yet?

[exequies]

Not as far as I can tell. Just a twinge here and there, but it's probably from all the walking. Moving through all this bloody snow and rubble takes a toll, doesn't it?

[jumpthegun]

Yeah, but do keep an eye on it, though. Pain is one of the symptoms of MN Poisoning, and it can start off with just standard sorts of aches from what I know of it.

[exequies]

I'll keep it in mind. Do the symptoms usually start this early on?

[jumpthegun]

There's not really a hard 'start' point. I've been here for two and half months and haven't gotten sick with MN Poisoning. Others who have been here less time are suffering far too much.

[His mind is on Alfie, in particular.]

It's just something to be vigilant about, Mr. Undertaker. Are you traveling with anyone else? It helps to have someone with you, in case it does start to kick in. And just in general in case you run into an anomaly.

[He doesn't actually finish that statement, but he is thinking. If they all arrive with the same nanomachines, then there must be some other cause of the sickness. He can't rule out simple biology, but it's still suspicious.]

No, I'm still alone. Traveling with others is a bit bothersome.

Haven't run into any anomalies yet, though. Perhaps I'm doing something right?

Or you're just getting lucky. It took an age for me to run into my first, but I was very grateful I had other people with me when I did.

I did find myself a rabbit's foot charm. Always wondered why such a pitiful creature was considered lucky.

In any case, I'll stick with someone when I feel like it.

And we hardly know each other well enough for that. You should save your concerns for your consulting detective.

Not that we've seen. Doesn't mean they aren't hopping about below ground.

Sherlock knows I'm concerned about him, but thank you. I am capable of worrying about more than one person at a time. New people who don't pick up mates straight off are particularly concerning.

You're going to age yourself considerably if you worry that much over others.

No need to worry yourself. I've resigned myself to the gray hair and wrinkles.
