because believe it or not id fucking agree with you that it doesnt matter the age around here

why the hell do you think the kid tries so hard to pull his own weight in the first place or not talk about jack shit if he doesnt have to

hes determined to do something of use

that doesnt change the fact that focusing on one thing that might be upsetting one person regardless of their age or ability doesnt magically outweigh the needs of the many just because it ruffles your damn feathers

Jesus Christ! Would you listen to yourself? One thing. I'm asking you to do one thing, you bloody bastard. I'm focusing on it because we have almost no control here over stopping the bad things from happening. But that one thing is something you can change to make someone's life better. And you won't out of pure stubborn pride and some insane need to be right.
