Hi, Hitsugaya. Sorry, would you mind if we use text? Ran into a little trouble after I met up with you lads and my voice is a bit hoarse.
[He was strangled. It sucked.]
I'm happy I was there to help, and you did wonderfully. Thank you very much for your help with him. That wouldn't have gone near as smoothly without you there.
[ He doesn't mind that he's asking. Ordinary humans have their own ideas of the afterlife that don't exactly align with what the Soul Society is like, even in his universe. ]
The afterlife I live in isn't like the one you're thinking of. We have significantly longer lifespans than humans in the World of the Living do, but we can still die and get sick and injured like you can. When we die, we get reincarnated in the World of the Living as a human.
Oh, that's clever. Is it? Sorry, that's just really strange to me, but reckon that's a good way to work it. Keeps the spirit alive forever. So, are there just a number of set souls in the world, then? How does god work? Or have you got one?
[It's a moment before he realizes how rude some of those questions might be.]
Sorry. You don't need to answer any of that. It's just really different from anything I've heard of.
It's fine. The humans back in my world had far more questions than you do in regards to the Soul Society.
[ Plus he's waiting for Andersen to wake up, so it's a good way to pass the time. ]
1. Basically any human who's died and managed to pass on is a soul in our world. There's not really any limit to how many we can have at one time. 2. We have a god called the Soul King. He's basically around to keep the flow of things in order.

Sure. Are you alright?
I didn't do much. Back where I'm from, we had healers and powers to help with these kinds of wounds.
[ He probably would have been able to at least put the bandage on (maybe even incorrectly), but Watson knows far more than he does. ]

[The concussion is more the issue than his voice. It's fine. He barely knows this young-looking man.]
You helping and not panicking let me focus where I needed to. That's more than enough to have been a major help.
You're from one of the places with magic, though? That's cool. Reckon it makes blokes like me superfluous, though.

[ He's curious, though he won't force the issue if Watson doesn't want to share. He understands wanting to keep some things to oneself. ]
I suppose it helps that blood isn't something I'm unfamiliar with.
Sort of. I'm from the afterlife, as those in the world of the living would put it; though I'm familiar with how ordinary humans work as well.

[Very personal, unfortunately, and John's still trying to figure out what he should do with the Pierce and Bucky situation.]
Sorry, this might seem like a really stupid question, but why would you need healers in the afterlife?
[It seems like a moot point...]
i thought i tagged this already....omg my bad

'Managed to pass on'?
Is it not a guarantee?
