i know time doesnt work the same in every universe
but i want some measure of if coming here affected literally anything at all in your universe
even if you didnt remember or look changed i cant know if it made things go bad or what unless you tell me
and in my world that kind of thing could end up with me and jade dead if we go back
theres also the fact i consider you a friend but what does that matter after five years away right

It might have taken five years, but his first timeline gave months, and the second three years before John had to figure out how to fix it by what Jade told him. Time span isn't a guarantee. Not remembering isn't a guarantee. Time not even working the same isn't a guarantee.]
